When your are out for a quiet location far away from everything is won't disappoint you.

We asked for a salad without fish. The waiter said there would be no fish in it. But surprisingly the salad contained tunny. On our complaint we were told that canned fish is not supposed to be fish ! What a stupid point.

we got spotlessly clean twin room with spa bath as an upgrade, nice gesture.

The staff here were really friendly and helpful. the room was super clean and had some cool extras like books and a spa bath. I also liked that it's in the countryside, a nice change of scenery! 🌿

Travelling with a fully packed car I like to stay off the main roads. Going home from Spain to Sweden. We secerely enjoyed the visit, although we were the only gests. Very nice and entertaining staff.

The hotel's elegant decor and original features were truly charming. The cozy common areas, like the library, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good book. As a senior, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with comfortable seating and easy access to amenities.

I would have asked for more assistance from the staff to cater specifically to the needs of senior guests.

Very well maintained country hotel. Beautiful hotel ground. Quiet area. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Rooms clean and equipped in everything you would expect in that category. We were very positively impressed by the place.

Maybe not a dislike, but a piece of advise :-) The hotel is out in the country – some distance from Vara de Rey. There are signs, but you must know where to look for them or ask people in the town. I got very good information from the hotel staff by e-mail before I got there – it is something worth having, especially that Google Maps does not even shot the road leading to the hotel.

A very clean hotel on its own hill in the middle of nowhere. See for miles over the countryside. Made to feel very welcome even though only staying overnight. Wholesome Spanish food. Good buffet breakfast.

Comfortable rooms with a relaxing spa bath for a nice soak. You'll be toasty with central heating, plus there's a work desk for your laptop and a TV for entertainment. the staff is super friendly and helpful. 😊
